R 9 The pursuit of the perfect espresso is an endless quest. When designing Rocket Espresso R 9, engineer Ennio Berti chose a fully water-saturated group head to further improve the machine's temperature stability by using PID control in the stainless steel multi-boiler machine. Pressure transducer technology was used to dramatically reduce vapor pressure recovery times, and became increasingly important in high volume cafes where the number of cups is served. Aesthetically speaking, the R 9 features the modern look that sets Rocket Espresso machines apart from others, with a lowered machine height, allowing better interaction between the barista and the customer. The digital display has boiler temperature adjustable in steps of 0.1 degrees Celsius and shot hours for each group, which is crucial for the best espresso.
