The Sparkling 17i cooling unit contains a 2 ° C cold metal block that ensures a constant supply of fresh, clean and cold drinking water when needed.
The drinking water cooler is a flow-through cooler with stainless steel spiral from which you can drain refreshing, cool cold water, with or without soda and lime-free water for the espresso machine.

It is recommended to mount carbon filters to remove impurities, bad taste, odor, and chlorine. The carbon filter will have a small impact on the lime problem.
